Location : Sham Nath Marg

Patron : Haryana Irrigation Department

Canal guest house of the Haryana Irrigation Department is situated at Sham Nath Marg, renamed from Alipore Road, which once used to be one of the most exclusive addresses. Many Princes established their residences here, specially the ones who weren't offered land near the India Gate circle. The Building under care of the Haryana Government, suggests itself being built in a similar time as of the Palatial Bungalows, having intricate jaalis and a stepped parapet. The staircases clearly showcase an Art Deco influence in the form of sweeping curves, an unbroken horizontal brick parapet and a wooden handrail, especially the double sided staircase displaying flamboyance of the style. The handrail on either side terminates on a post placed on the extended first step.
