Location : Delhi University

The arts department of the Delhi University in the North Campus is housed in a building that many would relate to Art Deco in the first glimpse itself. Its prominent stepped profile with a central rising tower and play of recessed mass, highlights its influence from style. The tower specially relates to the genre of the style, further enhanced with brick and plaster work that reflects as banding and a floating roof projection that adds a statement to the design. Similar to the other university towers, this also is constructed in exposed Bricks, perhaps becoming a staple language of the university enclave.
