Location : Man Singh Road

Patron : Maharaja Harinder Singh Brar

Jaisalmer House is located on Mansingh Road, designed by M/s Master, Sathe and Bhuta in the neighbourhood of Darbhanga House, Raja Charanjit Singh’s house and Kapurthala House. A rectangular profile in plan with bulging towers at the corners of the front, it comprises a central courtyard and centrally aligned entrance marked through an extended porch. Use of metal handrails, a design similar to ocean liners, can be seen on the balconies. A continuous eyebrow enhances the curved profile and adds as a striking deco feature, as well as porthole windows and patterned jaali work, which are predominant elements of the style.
