Location : Netaji Subhash Marg

Agency : Delhi Improvement Trust

Post the renovation of Faiz Bazaar Road (Netaji Subhash Marg), the Delhi Improvement Trust offered design suggestions for new commercial complexes coming up along the road adhering to Art Deco style. Adopting similar lines, the building housing SBI Bank followed a central entrance and a vertically rising tower over it, with peculiar chevron patterns. Other Deco features to note are porthole like shapes on its streamlined balconies along with the low relief speedlines and flat roof projection on the top.
